README FILE FOR CHIEF'S ZIP MANAGER ("Zipman")
----------------------------------------------
(c) 1998, Dr Abimbola A Olowofoyeku (The African Chief)

Description
-----------
Zipman is a free Win32 bonus program for registered users of Chief's
Installer Pro for Win16 and Win32 ("ChiefPro"). Its purpose is to manage
PKZIP(tm) compatible ZIP archives. It is postcard-ware for other users. This
means that if you want to keep using Zipman, you have to send me a nice and
unique postcard of your area, or better still, download and register one of
my shareware programs.

Note: this program is not public domain software.

I DO NOT WARANTEE ANYTHING CONCERNING ANY OF THE PROGRAMS OR FILES WHICH
MAKE UP "CHIEF'S ZIP MANAGER". I ACCEPT NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY LOSS OR
DAMAGE OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, LOSSES OF A PHYSICAL,
MENTAL, SOCIAL, FINANCIAL, MARITAL, OR OF WHATEVER NATURE, RESULTING FROM
THE USE, OR THE PURPORTED USE OF "CHIEF'S ZIP MANAGER", OR ANY OF THE FILES
IN THE PACKAGE, FOR ANY PURPOSE WHATSOEVER. I DO NOT EVEN WARANTEE THAT THE
FILES WILL NOT KILL YOU.

YOUR CUSTOMERS, FRIENDS, FAMILY, ACQUAINTANCES, OR ENEMIES, ENTIRELY AT YOUR
OWN RISK.

IF THESE TERMS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE TO YOU, THEN PLEASE DELETE ALL THE FILES
FROM YOUR DISKS IMMEDIATELY AND PERMANENTLY.

NO SUPPORT
----------
The Zipman program is *unsupported*. This is free software. You get what you
pay for, and I cannot support it with valuable time. If you have problems
with it, then please try to live with those problems, or delete the program
from your disks.

Please do *not* send me emails or messages asking for support, or asking me
to fix this or that, or requesting new features, or asking how to do this
or that.

I most certainly will *not* respond to any such message.

Development Tool
----------------
This application was developed in Borland Delphi 2.01

Credits:
--------
1. InfoZip: this program uses public domain InfoZIP unzip source code
(translated into Pascal/Delphi by Christian Ghisler).

The unzip sources are freely available for downloading, and a copy can
   be obtained from my homepage.

2. The AddZip compression libraries: this program uses the excellent
shareware addZIP compression libraries (by Stephen Darlington:
sdarlington@bigfoot.com) for creating and managing the Zip archives
   (AZIP32.DLL).

   Visit the addZIP home page:
   http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/Stephen_Darlington/addzip.htm

Note: any bug in this application is mine alone. The InfoZip, and addZIP
code are, as far as I know, largely bug-free.
